Ghanaian rapper Strongman has revealed that he believes the main reason behind Sarkodie’s refusal to extend his contract at Sarkcess Music was as a result of the “perception that he was killing” his music career. Strongman, who made an appearance on the popular Vim Talk Show with Afia Pokua explained that he believed Sarkodie “felt very bad” when people accused him of doing very little to help his music brand and career ultimately resulting in the split. By Atown TSB) Although, he is no more working with Sarkodie, strongman insists that he has “no problem” with Sarkodie. “If I were in the shoes of Sarkodie, I would have felt bad because of what the public said about his killing of my career ,” the young rapper said. Strongman, who has also been trending for the last two weeks due to his beef with colleague rapper Medikal insisted that he is a far better rapper than Medikal.
The ‘dancehall messiah’ of Ghanaian music, Masaany, nocked yet another feather in his cap over the weekend as he won an award at the 2019 edition of the GODiT Ghana Music Awards.
Masaany beat his rivals in the category Reggae Song of the Year award to pick home the grand prize at the event held at the Golden Tulip Hotel on Saturday, April 6th.
Masaany won the award with his inspirational song titled ‘Africa Unite’. He beat Iwan and a slew of other stars to the recognition.
Born Gberbie Abdul-Aziz Nii Lartey, Masaany is also known as ‘Dancehall Messiah’ and is the CEO of Militant Family Records. He is currently signed to Nacnad Entertainment and managed by Enabort Entertainment.
With such a good start to the year, Masaany has promised his fans more good things to come till the end of 2019 and beyond.
